FIVE DFS MLB Stacks
Los Ángeles Dodgers
Another good matchup tonight for the Dodgers. Janson Junk has been decent through five starts, but it’s not a spot I’m worried about with this offense. Max Muncy and Dalton Rushing need to be considered along with the usual suspects; Shohei Ohtani may not hit tonight even though he’s on the mound, but I don’t mind as that could bring people off of them and we know that they can explode at any time.

New York Yankees
This is a volatile spot at first glance with the Rangers trotting out Jacob deGrom (2.13 ERA, 34.9% K-rate, and 1.07 WHIP). However, if you want a tournament option with lovely upside and low ownership, the Yankees could be it: New York as a team has a .961 OPS with 11 HR in 96 AB against the Texas starter, and they’re averaging over six runs per game over their last seven contests. Risky, but tournament-winning potential…it’s just the kind of boom-or-bust play that could you win you a bunch of money.

Chicago Cubs
Great spot for the Cubs as they look to get back to playing like they did during their recent 10-game winning streak, and they could easily break their little three-game losing streak tonight: Walker Buehler, he of the 5.75 ERA and 1.62 WHIP, takes the mound for San Diego. Moises Ballesteros and Seiya Suzuki are smashing the cover off the ball, so I’m starting my stacks with them.

Seattle Mariners
Similar to the Yankees above, Seattle has a sneakily decent spot tonight facing a very good pitcher in Joe Ryan. They’ve had success against him (a .925 OPS in just 69 AB), and Ryan did get shelled last time out by the Mets. The ownership on Cal Raleigh, Josh Naylor, and the rest should be quite low, which could be in a tournament-winning lineup.

Kansas City Royals
Deeper tournament play perhaps, but there’s some reason to it. Kansas City is averaging just under seven runs per game over the last week, and tonight they get Aaron Civale (who’s allowed eight ER in his last 10 IP) in one of the best (if not the best) hitters parks in baseball. Bobby Witt finally hit his first long ball of the season a couple of days ago, so he could be getting hot; you’d also want to consider stacking Jac Caglianone, Isaac Collins, and Carter Jensen if you’re going here, and don’t forget Salvador Perez for his pop and his track record against Civale.
