DFS NHL Building Blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel – April 5

NHL Building Blocks – April 5

Fireworks last night as Ovie tied the Great One.  Don’t know that any of these eight games tonight can match that, but many of them still feature high-pressure situations.  Let’s dive in!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines.  These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.

Starting Lineup – April 5
The Goalie
: Adin Hill
Hill (29-13-5 / 2.50 / .907) gets a great matchup even on the road: the Flames’ offense is among the worst in the league.

The Center: John Tavares
Six goals and three helpers over his last five; really stepping up as the Leafs gear up for a playoff run.

The Wing: Nikita Kucherov
Three goals and 10 assists in his last five games and facing a bad Sabres defense.

The Defenseman: Cale Makar
Just the ninth defenseman in NHL history to score 30 goals in a season, and he’s not done yet.

The Value: Dante Fabbro
Two goals and five assists in his last five games; Blue Jackets are desperate.

The Stack: TOR (Matthews-Marner-Nylander-Tavares)
There are a few top-notch offenses on the slate, but I’m going with the home team out of those tonight, and these four just keep it rolling.
