NHL Building Blocks – April 4
Three juicy games on this Friday night. Let’s dive in!
The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines. These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.
Starting Lineup – April 4
The Goalie: Charlie Lindgren
Lindgren (17-12-3 / 2.66 / .899) should be the chalk goalie on this three-gamer as he’s got the best matchup at home against the Blackhawks.
The Center: Dylan Larkin
Time for the Wings’ captain to step up as they need every point they can get.
The Wing: Alex Ovechkin
Goals in three straight (and four of his last five) to bring him within two goals of tying Gretzky.
The Defenseman: Moritz Seider
Plays 25+ minutes a night and averages over four shots and blocks per game, and he’s going to be needed down the stretch.
The Value: Artyom Levshunov
Blackhawks’ top prospect and getting PP1 time.
The Stack: WSH (Ovechkin-Strome-Protas-Wilson)
The Caps will continue to feed Ovie as much as they can, and his linemates will continue to reap the benefits. Great matchup against a bad Blackhawks defense as well.
