DFS NHL Building Blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel – April 16

NHL Building Blocks – April 16

Six games left on the second-to-last day of the regular season, and there’s still one more spot to be claimed (and it could be tonight).  Let’s dive in!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines.  These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.

Starting Lineup – April 16
The Goalie
: Sam Montembeault
Monty (30-24-6 / 2.83 / .901) and the Canadiens can clinch the final playoff spot in the East with a win tonight against the Hurricanes who should be resting up for the postseason.

The Center: Nick Suzuki
Leads the team in scoring.

The Wing: Cole Caufield
Leads the team in goals and should step up in this one.

The Defenseman: Lane Hutson
The likely Calder winner plays his last regular season game of his first season.

The Stack: MON (Caufield-Suzuki-Hutson-Demidov)
The Canadiens are in a win-and-you’re-in situation, and they need it with how well Columbus (the other team vying for the last playoff spot) has been playing.
