Correlated Snipe #1 – Nathan Mackinnon – Martin Necas – Artturi Lehkonen
Colorado at home is typically where all of our homies are at, and it’s where this guy is going tonight. Let other people overthink this one. Pittsburgh is very old and bad, and their goaltending has looked bad all year. Necas and Mackinnon are going together like peas and carrots, and any other pieces that fit around them make sense too. Mackinnon and company is the best stack of the night, simple as pie. Will this be the final recruiting pitch to get Sidney Crosby to Denver?
Correlated Snipe #2 – Tage Thompson – JJ Peterka – Rasmus Dahlin
I like both sides to this game but the Sabres home have the slight edge for me. Both teams are near the bottom of the standings and are on the second leg of a back to back. This is trade deadline week, so be weary of these losing teams’ best players potentially getting traded. Both team’s goalies should stink in this one, but the high end talent at the top of Buffalo’s roster is more appealing to me than the Sharks side. Tage Thompson is due for an explosion game.

Correlated Snipe #3 – Macklin Celebrini – Tyler Toffoli – William Eklund
The Sharks side in the Buffalo game is also firmly in play here. Buffalo hasn’t stopped a beach ball all year, and the Sharks have some young speed and talent. I expect goals in this game and the overs to hit. Celebrini, Eklund, and Toffoli are always overlooked in tournaments and have high upside.
Grinders:
Ondrej Palat – With Hughes most likely missing this game, Palat is a candidate for added ice time. Also may slot in on that top powerplay unit.
Mathieu Olivier – With extension talks finalizing with the CBJ, there is a narrative there if the contract gets signed. I also like the CBJ in general against what will probably be the TB backup
