Correlated Snipe #1 – Nico Hischier – Timo Meier – Luke Hughes
Any formation of a Devils stack is optimal in my estimation as they play the absolutely terrible Chicago Blackhawks. Hischier is just superior to any center matchup against him from Chicago in my eyes, and Meier just scored 2 goals the other night. Luke Hughes is awesome and getting that powerplay time as well, and Jesper Bratt may skate circles around these Blackhawks. It’s just quite simply a mismatch. Keep it simple.

Correlated Snipe #2 – Roope Hintz – Jason Robertson – Mikko Rantanen
This is more of a gut feeling stack here. On the road in Edmonton is usually tough, but without Draisaitl and McDavid, I think Edmonton is completely mismatched here. Sure they won their first game without them, but they didn’t play the Dallas Stars who come in waves. Also, the Stars probably want revenge as Edmonton beat Dallas in Dallas in a very chippy game where Mikko Rantanen was making his Stars debut. Narratives and matchups are pointing me here, and specifically in the direction of Mikko Rantanen.
