NHL Building Blocks – March 30
A small five-gamer wraps up the last weekend of March. Let’s dive in!
The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines. These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.
Starting Lineup – March 30
The Goalie: Pyotr Kochetkov
Kochetkov (25-13-3 / 2.50 / .902) and the top-notch Canes defense are at home tonight; the Isles’ offense has been subpar all season, so I like him in all formats.
The Center: Sidney Crosby
Seven goals and seven assists during a nine-game point streak and is not quitting on the season.
The Wing: Alex Ovechkin
Six goals away and in what might be the best matchup on the slate.
The Defenseman: Quinn Hughes
Playing like the Norris-winner that he is, and he’s turned the Canucks’ momentum around.
The Value: Jonathan Lekkerimaki
Canucks are high on him and for good reason.
The Stack: CAR (Aho-Jarvis-Roslovic-Blake)
Great spot for the Canes tonight, and this stack usually goes a little overlooked.
