DFS NHL Building Blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel – March 26

NHL Building Blocks – March 26

Four solid games on the schedule tonight.  Let’s dive in!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines.  These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.

Starting Lineup – March 26
The Goalie
: Jacob Markstrom
Markstrom (22-14-6 / 2.50 / .900) has cooled off lately, but this could be a spot to get right as the Devils push toward the playoffs.

The Center: Nico Hischier
30 goals (leads the team) and averaging close to a point per game; Blackhawks’ defense isn’t intimidating.

The Wing: David Pastrnak
Great spot for Pasta here with his huge floor (more shots on goal than anyone in the league) and ceiling (34 goals and is on pace for close to 100 points even with the Bruins selling at the deadline).

The Defenseman: Quinn Hughes
Hughes had a six-game point streak snapped last game, but he’s got eight points in March and continues to lead the team in scoring by 23 points, and he’s been instrumental in keeping the Canucks in the Western Conference playoff picture.

The Value: Jonathan Lekkerimaki
Scored the game-winnner in OT last game and has been seeing his ice time and opportunity increase.

The Stack: NJD (Hischier-Bratt-Meier-Noesen)
The Devils have a great matchup tonight as they visit the Blackhawks who have allowed the third most goals in the league.
