DFS NHL Building Blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel – March 25

NHL Building Blocks – March 25

We’re getting close to the playoffs, and most of these 10 games tonight have some sort of playoff implication.  Let’s dive in!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines.  These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.

Starting Lineup – March 25
The Goalie
: Joseph Woll
Woll (24-13-0 / 2.74 / .907) has been a solid presence in net all season, and especially at home, I like him as Philly’s offense has been middle of the pack all season.  He also has the high-upside Leaf offense in front of him for support.

The Center: Nathan MacKinnon
The league’s leading scorer at home in the altitude against a sub-par defense on the second half of a back-to-back.

The Wing: Jordan Kyrou
Six goals and five assists during his six-game point streak and facing a not-intimidating Canadiens defense.

The Defenseman: Cale Makar
Love the floor and ceiling that he brings every game; on pace for 30 goals and close to 100 points.

The Value: Elmer Soderblom
Scored last night and is a solid value piece.

The Stack: TB (Kucherov-Point-Guentzel-Hagel-Cirelli)
Mix and match these five as they might have the best ceiling of any stack on the slate: Pittsburgh’s defense has allowed more goals than any team in the league.
