We’ve got some lovely offenses on this six-gamer tonight. Let’s dive in!
The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines. These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.
Starting Lineup – March 22
The Goalie: Jeremy Swayman
Swayman (20-24-6 / 3.04 / .896) needs to step up big time if the Bruins have any chance at making the postseason, and a win against the hapless Sharks would go a long way toward that goal. Should be popular as the matchup is very good.
The Center: Nathan MacKinnon
Great spot for the league’s leading scorer. Points in three straight games and he shoots a ton.
The Wing: David Pastrnak
Best matchup on the slate for someone who shoots more than anyone in the league (over four times a game on average); sixth in the league in goals (34) and the Bruins legitimately need every win they can get.
The Defenseman: Brandon Montour
Three goals and four assists in his last five games; solid spot against a star-less Oilers team and a decent pivot for the price from the chalk Makar.
The Value: Oilers
McDavid and Draisaitl are both out for this one.
The Stack: COL (MacKinnon-Necas-Makar-Nichushkin-Lehkonen)
The Avs have scored 41 goals in their last 10 games (8-1-1) and get a Canadiens defense that ranks in the bottom quarter of the league in goals allowed and shots allowed per game. Mix and match these five as the bulk of Colorado’s production centers around them.
