DFS NHL Building Blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel – March 20

NHL Building Blocks – March 20

A giant 14-game slate is our treat tonight after last night’s single game.  Where do we start?  Let’s dive in!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines.  These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.

Starting Lineup – March 20
The Goalie
: Pyotr Kochetkov
Should be fairly popular even on a larger slate like this given the matchup against the Blackhawks.  He’s been very good all season (25-11-3 / 2.37 / .908), and the Canes’ defense is solid as well (fourth fewest goals allowed as a team on the fewest shots per game as well).

The Center: Dylan Strome
Four goals in his last five games and Philly has allowed the fourth most goals in the league.

The Wing: Artemi Panarin
Seven goals and seven assists during a 10-game point streak; Leafs played last night and the Rangers are desperate.

The Defenseman: Quinn Hughes
Two goals and three assists in the four games since coming back from missing time; Blues’ defense isn’t terribly scary and the Canucks have scored 16 goals in those four games.

The Value: Jackson Blake
Up on L1/PP1 with Aho and Jarvis.

The Stack: CAR (Aho-Jarvis-Hall-Rozlovic
The Hurricanes have one of the best matchups tonight against a Sharks team that’s allowed the most goals in the league; it’s such a large slate that ownership will be spread out, so getting some shares of this stack isn’t an issue.
