DFS NHL Building Blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel – March 2

NHL Building Blocks – March 2

Three games end our week, and we’ve got some nice matchups and some fun spot.  Let’s dive in!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines.  These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.

Starting Lineup – March 2
The Goalie
: Jake Oettinger
Oettinger (28-13-2 / 2.42 / .910) backstops one of the league’s best defenses, and they take on a St. Louis team that isn’t that good offensively, while Dallas has allowed the second fewest goals in the league.

The Center: Jack Eichel
Goal scoring is down a bit this season (just 19 in 58 games), but he still leads the team with 70 points and continues to be an all-world talent.

The Wing: Jason Robertson
Six goals and three assists in his last five games.

The Defenseman: Dougie Hamilton
40 points in 60 games and shoots three times per contest; Vegas is elite, so he’ll be needed all over.

The Value: Brandon Saad
Skating at even strength with Stone and also sees PP2 time.  Cheaper piece from a team in a good spot.

The Stack: DAL (Robertson-Hintz-Duchene-Johnston)
The Stars are hot right now and the Blues are on the second half of a back-to-back.
