DFS NHL Building Blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel – March 11

NHL Building Blocks – March 11

A giant 11-game slate awaits us this Tuesday.  How do we figure out where to start?  Let’s dive in!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines.  These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.

Starting Lineup – March 11
The Goalie
: Logan Thompson
Thompson (27-4-5 / 2.31 / .917) will be extremely popular even on the road: the Ducks have scored the fewest goals in the league and the Caps have an elite team all around.  Safe in all formats.

The Center: Tim Stutzle
Just had a 14-game point streak snapped last night, but still has 65 points in 62 games, and the Sens continue to hold on to a wild card spot as they face a Flyers team that’s allowed the third most goals in the league on the season.

The Wing: Alex Ovechkin
Single digits away from the record and getting a defense that isn’t terribly intimidating.

The Defenseman: Zach Werenski
Werenski brings a great floor and high ceiling to every game, and this game should give him ample opportunity for both.

The Value: Mackie Samoskevich
Still should be PP1 and L2.

The Stack: FLA (Reinhart-Barkov-Verhaeghe-Bennett)
Even with Marchand not in the lineup, these two teams are going in opposite directions, and the Panthers will want to stick it to the Bruins even more.
