Starting Lineup – February 27
The Goalie: Andrei Vasilevskiy
Vas (26-15-3 / 2.24 / .921) continues to be one of the best goalies in the league, and he’s rested and ready to host a Flames team that ranks near the bottom of the league in goals scored. Should be a popular choice tonight.
The Center: Leon Draisaitl
Eight goals and five helpers over his last nine games, and Florida’s defense hasn’t been that elite yet this season. Solid spot for the league’s leading goal scorer.
The Wing: David Pastrnak
Thirteen goals and 17 assists during a ridiculous 15-game point streak, and he has a great floor as well, leading the league in shots on goal as well (239 through 59 games, good for over four per contest).
The Defenseman: Zach Werenski
Should have a field day with the Wings’ subpar defense; he leads the team in scoring and has an incredible floor, leading the team in shots as well.
The Value: Vasily Podkolzin
Still skating on L2 with Draisaitl and has had some nice chances with him.
The Stack: VGK (Eichel-Stone-Hertl-Dorofevev)
The Golden Knights get maybe the best matchup on the slate tonight against a porous Blackhawks team. Mix and match these four.
