DFS NHL Snipes and Grinders for DraftKings and FanDuel 1-20-25

Correlated Snipe #1 – Bo Horvat – Mat Barzal – Anders Lee

Noah Dobson is always stackable in Islanders stacks, and all of these guys correlate perfectly on the top powerplay unit. The Jackets are a weird team with wild home vs away splits that favors the home team at all times. So basically, when Columbus hits the road, their opponent is a viable home stack. Columbus is due for a stinker, and Long Island is a fairly standard place to have one. The top line for the Islanders have been playing a ton and producing enough offensively to make them have solid upside. They are all affordable, and they all correlate and fill the positions perfectly. Everything about it makes sense, so let’s click the buttons and move on.

Correlated Snipe #2 – Connor Bedard – Tyler Bertuzzi

Seth Jones of-course is viable in Chicago stacks. Chicago seems like a never stack button, but Bedard is super cheap for his talent level, and him and Bertuzzi have been getting the job done as of late. Also, ever since their hot start to the season, Carolina has been a below 500 team for about a month (very underwhelming). This is a cost-effective stack with upside, and even if we are going only slightly over the field on it, I think it is an exploitable spot to attack at home.

Grinders:

Jake McCabe – He has player 2 games since coming back and he reached the shot block bonus in both games, has 2 points, and is playing 25 minutes a game.

Jackson Blake – Another youngster that comes from an NHL lineage. Jackson Blake is cheap, and as of right now is listed as on the top line with Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov.

Bobby McMann – Listed currently as on the second line and top powerplay unit for the Leafs. He has talent and correlates well with William Nylander.
