Smaller slate here where we just need to stick to our guns and strategies. We have had members win thousands of dollars this year in NHL, and we’re looking for continued success as always. Now, let’s get to stacking!
Correlated Snipe #1 – Elias Pettersson – Jake Debrusk
Coach Tocchet told the media that he needs more emotion and effort from 5 or 6 guys on his Canucks team, and although we don’t know who those players are, those players probably do. I am assuming that Pettersson fits the bill here. Super talented, but can look disinterested at times. I think he has a big game against Utah here. He is one of the best players in the world, but only when he chooses to be. Utah is nothing to be scared of, and it is time for the Canucks to start rolling this year. They do not want to take a step backwards after their very strong season last season.
Correlated Snipe #2 – Mark Scheifele – Kyle Connor – Gabriel Vilardi
The Jets are up against the lousy Anaheim Ducks here on a back to back on their California trip. The Jets are one of the best puck possession teams in the league, and the Ducks have undersized, young, defensemen who should be exploitable to the Jets’ power cycle game. I foresee powerplays, which lead to a higher potential of goals here for the Jets.
Grinders:
JT Compher – Big minutes, top powerplay guy with Detroit switching the lines up.
Jamie Drysdale – Top powerplay unit quarterback for the Flyers. Low floor, but he has a high ceiling with this role.
