The NFL Week 13 Milly Maker winning lineup is one that would be hard to replicate as the QB and his pass catcher were expensive and didn’t produce over 4X their salary, but in a season of a lot of lower scoring winning lineups, maybe it’s not as hard to replicate as you’d think. Is this the new norm? Under 220 points as a winning Milly Maker score? Perhaps. Let’s take a look at the winning lineup that got it done.

Overall, this lineup was contrarian with a 94% total ownership. The Daniels to Robinson/Mclaurin stack with a Westbrook bring back was contrarian in a matchup that seemed difficult for them to “get there” at their salaries; There were 3 chalky spots in an overall contrarian lineup – Evans at 17%, Mcconkey at 21%, and Bucky at a surprising 34%.

Daniels was very low owned at 2% and was the 2nd highest scoring QB on the slate. You could make the argument he brought the most teammates with him as well, and that’s how he was in the winning lineup as one of the top leverage plays.
Mclaurin at 2%
The Daniels to Mclaurin stack was the highest scoring QB + WR Combo on the slate and Mclaurin was under 2% owned!
Chargers DST at 1%
Top scoring DST on the slate at 1% ownership. Was the difference between first place and the rest of the field.

Lower scoring weeks will result in less than stellar outing in the fantasy points per dollar department; However, the Chargers DST still hit 6X value. (Having at least one position do this is a Milly Maker winning staple.) Another thing to note is this lineup had the Rare QB + 2 stack that was high salary ($6800 average between the 3) and the average fantasy points per dollar value was also below 4X for the entire stack. Freiermuth, Chargers DST, and Irving carried the lineup from a value standpoint. Paying up for Defense paid off this week.
Ceiling
After 13 weeks of the NFL Season, we have an average winning Milly Maker score of exactly 220 points. The days of the average scores being over 235 points seem to be in the rear-view mirror – maybe it’s just a down year full of injuries on the offense and we’ll have a return to the 238 average we saw in 2023 or the 240 average we saw in 2022. Only time will tell but stay with us as we continue to track it!
