$1,000,000 Milly Maker Ownership
Week 9 | Ownership |
G Smith | 4% |
S Barkley | 12.30% |
D Achane | 21.50% |
JSN | 6.50% |
C Sutton | 13.70% |
Q Johnston | 2.90% |
M Gesicki | 21.80% |
Z Flowers | 1.60% |
Ten DST | 5.70% |
Total | 90% |
This was a Typical GPP Winning lineup that ate a good amount of good chalk and had some contrarian plays sprinkled in like Geno, Flowers, JSN, & Johnston who all smashed and really leveraged the field. DFS Army’s Domination Station was pushing Geno so it was all over the ‘Nuts QB’ on the slate.
Top Leverage Plays
Jaxon Smith- Njigba at 6%
With Metcalf out, it was time for the young Wide Receiver to shine. He was the highest scoring player on the entire slate and thus the top leverage play on the slate.
Quentin Johnston at 2%
Great direct leverage play off of Mcconkey and was a great call on Tournament Tactics.
Zay Flowers at 1%
The Ravens had a 28-point implied team total and yet nobody wanted to play them in DFS against Denver. They scored 41 and Flowers was a big part of the reason they racked up so many points – he was the 2nd highest scoring Wide Receiver, and this lineup leveraged the field with both of them.
Pricing and Value from the Milly Maker Contest
Week 9 | Pricing | FPTS per Dollar |
G Smith | $5,800 | 4.84X |
S Barkley | $8,200 | 4.5X |
D Achane | $6,700 | 4.79X |
JSN | $6,200 | 6.45X |
C Sutton | $5,400 | 4.86X |
Q Johnston | $4,400 | 5.68X |
M Gesicki | $3,100 | 9.67X |
Z Flowers | $7,000 | 4.67X |
Ten DST | $3,200 | 3.43X |
Total | $50,000 | 5.24X |
It’s great to see a lineup back over 5X the salary. Gesicki was a mind boggling 9X his salary and JSN was that 2nd player over 6X his salary to absolutely crush value and push this lineup over 5X. The Geno paydown mixed with 3 players between $3100-$5400 also allowed the salary savings for heavy hitters such as Barkley, Achane, Flowers, & the pay up for Tennessee’s DST.
Ceiling
Raise the Roof! This was the first week this season when we had a score north of 240 and 2nd place was only 243 so chindog619 really smoked the field with this 262 score. Despite the really high score, we’ll need to see more weeks north of 240 if the current seasonal average of 222 is going to change at all.
