NHL Building Blocks – April 24

NHL Building Blocks – April 24

Three games tonight; two Game Twos and a Game Three (tied up 1-1).  Let’s dive in!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines.  These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.

Starting Lineup – April 24
The Goalie:
 Stuart Skinner ($8200 DK / $8300 FD)
Didn’t look terribly sharp stopped 33 of 37 shots), but his offense bailed him out.  Should fare better tonight (and he’s still got that offense in front of him).

The Center:  Connor McDavid ($9600 DK/ $10300 FD)
Five assists in the first game and played exactly like we’re used to seeing him play.  Looks like a man on a mission.

The Wing:  Zach Hyman ($7900 DK/ $9500 FD)
Hat trick in G1 and no issue going right back to him here.  Left off where the regular season ended.

The Defenseman:  Charlie McAvoy ($5100 DK / $5600 FD)
Assist to go along with four blocks in G2; will be needed again tonight in a crucial G3.

The Value:  Pat Maroon ($2700 DK / $3700 FD)
Continues to be too cheap on PP1.  One assist and 10 hits in the first two games of the series.

The Stack:  EDM1 (McDavid-Hyman-Henrique)
Line looked unstoppable in G1 (four goals and seven assists between the three of them); Henrique fit in nicely as well.  Mix Draisaitl/Bouchard as secondary pieces.

The Builder:  EDM/LAK O6.5
