Yahoo! DFS Cash Game Players for Week 12
Every week in Yahoo! DFS we look to target high floor players to hit the cash line in 50/50s, Double ups, and head to heads. Let’s identify the best cash plays as we look to hit the cash line again and find ways to leverage ownership in tournaments like the Yahoo! Baller.
Quarterbacks
Patrick Mahomes $37
Mahomes hasn’t scored under 20 points in 8 weeks. The Chiefs have the highest projected team total on the slate at 29 points, and 2nd highest projected passing yards on the slate according to the Statsational power rankings. With Fields out, Mahomes is my top pay up option this week on Yahoo!
Joe Burrow $35
Joe cool threw 4 touchdowns last week and now he gets a matchup vs a Tennessee team that gives up a lot of fantasy points to the Wide receiver position. This is the top passing offense this week via the Statsational power rankings, and I love Burrow stacks this week in tournaments as there are several ways to go with his stacking options as Burrow “expects Chase to play this week.”
Tua Tagovailoa $33
In a week of low game totals, Miami is back on the slate with a 29-point projected team total against a poor Houston team. I think we can go right back to Tua stacks in tournaments and Tua + Tyreek are both cash viable as well.
Running Backs
Austin Ekeler $34
Not surprisingly, Ekeler is top 5 in Running Back projections this week with his combination of rushing and passing game work that has him averaging about 20 touches per game. He sees a lot of goal line work and will have plentiful opportunities to get into the endzone this week in a game that projects as a competitive back and forth affair.
Kenneth Walker $29
Walker has double digit points every game that he’s started this year with his elite volume (about 20 touches per game) and he’ll look to keep that trend going this week against Raiders team that is bottom 10 in the league against the run.
Josh Jacobs $26
I gave you Jacobs last week as a solid cash game play and he delivered with 109 yards and 17 points. Jacobs has averaged 22.5 carries per game the last two weeks and that should continue this week as Seattle has the 3rd worst run Defense in the league.
James conner $23
The Chargers give up 6.3 fantasy points over average to the Running Back position and thus Conner slides in as one of the best Running Backs on the slate as he’s scored 3 tuddys in the past 2 weeks with his run/pass game work.
Jeff Wilson $21
Miami projects as a top 5 run offense this week and after trading for Wilson before the trade deadline, the Dolphins gave 17 carries to Wilson to the tune of 119 yard and a touchdown. At $21, Wilson is one of the best plays on the entire slate in this prime matchup.
Rachaad White $19
Incredible matchup vs the worst run Defense in the league and there’s no Fournette this week to steal carries. White will be in my cash game lineup this week at $19 and is a strong tournament play as well.
Samaje Perine $19
Mixon left the game early last week with a concussion and Perine stepped into a bigger role for 3 Touchdowns. Great play at $19 but I prefer him in tournaments.
Antonio Gibson $17
Antonio Gibson is the top fantasy points per dollar play this week with an 11.84 projection going against Atlanta’s 31st ranked Defense.
Latavius Murray $14
The Broncos cut Melvin Gordon and put Chase Edmonds on IR to join Mike Boone and Javonte Williams on injured reserve. There is literally nobody else to carry the ball at this point besides some practice squad level players. He’s incredibly cheap at $14 and the low ownership makes him a smash play. If he ends up as chalk by lock, I don’t want any part of it, however.

Wide Receivers
Tyreek Hill $33
32% target share on the season, Top WR Projection on the slate at 16.92, and Miami’s Offense projects top 3 in passing this week. If you can afford the salary, Hill is the top pay up option at Wide Receiver.
Deandre Hopkins $30
Only a fraction of a point behind Hill this week in projections. Hopkins has averaged over 12 targets per game in 4 out of 5 games this year. If Murray is back in the lineup this weekend, Hopkins is cash viable. On the contrary, he’s always a tournament consideration with his upside.
Davante Adams $28
How does Adams remain under $30 with a 32% target share and the WR3 on the season? He’s criminally underpriced on Yahoo, and I’ll definitely have him in my Cash lineup in a game that projects as a high scoring back and forth game.
Tee Higgins $27
35% target share last week which is in line with what we’ve seen from him since Chase has been out with a hip injury. Higgins turned that volume into 148 yards and will look to continue it this week vs a Titans team that gives up a ton of fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.
Tyler Lockett $22
Lockett is one of those consistent players that gets into the endzone (3 touchdowns in 3 games) and yet his price never seems to climb much. Surprisingly enough, Metcalf’s priced even lower at $20 this week, so I prefer DK but both options are in play for me depending on my lineup construction.
Keenan Allen $21
In his first week back, Allen got 8 targets for 94 yards. This week he faces an Arizona secondary that is bottom 10 in fantasy points to wide receivers which surely leads to Allen’s top 7 Wide Receiver projection this week. His fantasy points per dollar projection is elite as well for wide receivers this week.
Chris Olave $17
Olave has a 22% target share on the season and is the number one passing option in the Saints’ Offense. He’s shown a propensity to total over 100 yards and has 6 games with double digit points. At $17, his floor is decent enough to be cash viable.
Tight Ends
Travis Kelce $30
Travis Kelce’s 15.09 projection would be good for 4th best among all Wide Receivers this week. Despite the high price, he’s priced appropriately for his floor and upside. He’s in play in all formats.
George Kittle $16
Kittle has 4 touchdowns in his last 4 games and yet his price is the lowest it’s been all season. I have no idea what Yahoo is doing with his pricing but he’s my favorite cash game Tight End this week.
Greg Dulcich $14
Top Fantasy points per dollar play this week for tight ends. Dulcich’s 20% target share is elite for tight ends and he’s a mismatch on the field despite Denver’s poor offense. The upside is there but I like Kittle’s floor better at only $2 more.
Defenses
Denver Broncos $15
Denver has a top 3 passing Defense and this week they get Baker Mayfield who has as many interceptions as touchdowns this season.
Miami Dolphins $12
Miami is easily one of the best teams in the league and Miami has a strong rushing defense that should neutralize Dameon Pierce. This should force Mills to pass more and newly acquired Bradley Chubb and company will look to get after Mills and create turnovers like the pick six he threw last week against Washington. This is my favorite play on the slate.
Los Angeles Chargers $10
One of the top Fantasy Points per Dollar plays this week on the slate, if Colt Mccoy gets the start again, I like the Chargers this week at minimum pricing.

Top Yahoo! Stack of the Week
Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins
Total Stacking Price: $62
Total Projected Points: 32.71
Total Projected Ownership: 16%
Joe cool threw 4 touchdowns last week and has been in ‘the nuts’ multiple times across multiple seasons. This week he has a fantastic matchup vs a Tennessee team that gives up a lot of fantasy points to the Wide Receiver position. This is the top passing offense this week via the Statsational power rankings, and I love Burrow stacks in tournaments as there are several ways to go with his stacking options as Burrow “expects Chase to play this week.” The stacking options project as low owned and hopefully we’ll get Chase back and low owned as well.
Top Yahoo! Leverage Plays
Joe Burrow at 1%
See above. Low owned and the matchup is too good to ignore.
Latavius Murray at 4%
The Broncos cut Melvin Gordon and put Chase Edmonds on IR to join Mike Boone and Javonte Williams on injured reserve. There is literally nobody else to carry the ball at this point besides some practice squad level players. He’s incredibly cheap at $14 and the low ownership makes him a smash play. If he ends up as chalk by lock, I don’t want any part of it, however.
Christian Kirk at 3%
Baltimore is giving up 3.63 points above average to the Wide receiver position and Kirk has that tournament winning upside as we saw before the Bye week when he went off for 30 points against Kansas City. At under 5% ownership, Kirk is a great tournament play based on his salary and upside.
Deandre Hopkins at 7%
I’m guessing the Murray injury, salary, and lack of recent touchdowns has people scared to play Hopkins, but his upside is still high, and we’ll take some chances at low ownership in GPP’s like the Yahoo Baller.
Foster Moreau at 4%
The Seahawks give up 3.63 points above average to the Tight End position and in a game where Jacobs and Adams figure to garner a lot of ownership, Moreau makes for a solid direct leverage play.
