Is this real? Could Tiger Woods be plotting an epic return to the PGA Tour at The Masters in Augusta, Georgia this year? An epic comeback indeed after his widely publicized car crash a little over a year ago. Tiger still moves the needle for all things golf-related, and a return to competitive play is absolutely on par with Alex Smith’s NFL comeback….if not even better.
The buzz surrounding a Tiger Woods comeback in Augusta continues to grow. Just this week, the 5-time Masters winner was seen walking around his hometown golf course. It wasn’t long ago everyone thought a return to competitive golf was just a Bryson Dechambeau drive, a longshot, if you will. But, the more speculation builds, the more fans get their hopes up.
Then, this tweet hit the social media circuit…
This is a critical week for @tigerwoods to see if his body can sustain 72 holes at Augusta National. He will exhaust every effort to play @TheMasters.

The proverbial smoke started to turn to fire.
The flames people seem to be watching right now are the fact Tiger Woods’ name still sits on the list of Masters field entrants. Until his name comes off this list, there is hope.
Everyone loves a great comeback story (including Paige Spirinac and her recent photos ), and the golf world might be in for a big one here. In fact, Tiger was even seen arriving at Augusta Regional Airport this week…
🚨#NEW: The jet belonging to Tiger Woods is arriving at Augusta Regional airport in advance of a planned scouting mission at ANGC.

DYK – Tiger Woods current odds to win The Masters are better than Phil Mickelson’s?! In fact, Tiger is sitting at +5000 alongside names like Paul Casey, Sungjae Im, and famous hot-mic’er, Tyrell Hatton according to BetMGM.
If you reside in one of the legal USA states or other areas worldwide, there might even be decent value in a bet like this given Tiger’s knowledge of Augusta and Masters experience.
The course rewards past champions, and the same names seem to make the cut every year. It should be noted, Tiger has only missed the cut once in his entire career at The Masters…1996, as an amateur.
