Building 20 Lineups

Building a repeatable approach to 20 lineups in the domination station took several weeks of research and planning before this article can be written. Luckily, DFSA has some really smart guys like @Burns273 who will gladly help me as I explore the art of being a DFS player. It was mind blowing to have Burns walk me through the use of Standard Error, Mean scores and Standard deviations in order to create an approach based on quantitative analysis.

Results

It was found that the player pool had to drastically decrease to 14-15 in order to generate nuts lineups using 20. However, there was promise to reading through the DFSA Notes and research station in order to make educated fades as you build your pool. For example, if you are reading through notes carefully, you may notice a coach say, “It will be very hard for this guy to hit value, even with a win”. IMO this is a suggestion to fade a player you may be on the fence with as you build your pool.

Lock

Locking 1 stud continued to hold up for 20 lineups as it did for the other approaches written with 5 out of 5 successful backtests possessing a stud lock. Suggestion: Listen to the podcast and read notes in order to find your lock.

Access

Access to professionals and top players may in fact be the best tool in building repeatable approaches with DFS lineups. Therefore, having access to players like Geek, bobbywow and burns is a resource that I have used over the past month to build my approaches and it has paid well. Prior to collaborating and learning under these guys, I had never won a tournament. Within the first month of working with DFSA, I was able to take down a large field tournament. Therefore, I would be remised not to suggest readers to find ways to gain access to players better than them in order to learn from them.

Building 20 Lineups

  • Marley 4 Star fight favorite receives a ❤️
  • Lock Marley favorite Fighter on the card 100%
  • 0% Randomization
  • 20 lineups
  • 1 unique
  • Adjust Max own to 70%
  • Ensure your pool is 14-15
  • Lock 1 Stud

Continuity

There was a large amount of continuity between the 4 different processes that have been written, which helps keeps things tight. I speak to keeping things tight as I prefer transitions to be seamless in order to increase efficiency as well as success (go hand and hand). It is my hope that all 4 approaches will be able to generate and repeat the same amount of success with a careful approach to building lineups for MMA.

Closing Thoughts

The change that should be considered for those building 20 lineups for MMA is the number of fighters that the Domination Station was brought down to before generating the lineups. It is strongly encouraged to get the fighter count number down 14-15 for optimal results using this approach (Again, my opinion for what it is worth). In conclusion, the intent of this installation of articles was to provide all tournament players with a new and repeatable approach to “taking down” tournaments!
