Full Court Press:
Charlotte Hornets @ Washington Wizards
Vegas Total: 233.5
Vegas Spread: Was -5.5
Starting with the Hornets, using the Research Station we can see that the Wizards do not play good defense and are ranked at best, 20th in the league against a certain position. See below. Cody Zeller ranks as the top point per dollar option on this team, however, he isn’t in the greatest of form, going for less than 16 Draftkings points in three straight games. This is a spot where I would expect Devonte’ Graham to have a pretty nice day, he has a 26.4% usage rate on the season and will get Isaiah Thomas on defense (that’s a good thing). The same can be said for Terry Rozier, both are great plays in this up paced matchup. PJ Washington has not played great as of late, but I don’t hate going with him in GPPs. From the Wizards, it is the Bradley Beal show right now as he has a usage rate of 35% and has scored at least 56 Draftkings points in three of his last four games. The Hornets do not have the size to compete with opposing big men putting Thomas Bryant in a good spot as well. Davis Bertans has played sneak good over the past two games and isn’t the worst play here for GPPs. My favorite play here maybe Isaiah Thomas as he has a 26% usage rate and will take shots if he’s seen them open, more of a GPP guy though.
5-star plays: Devonte’ Graham, Bradley Beal, Thomas Bryant
4-star plays: Terry Rozier, Isaiah Thomas, Davis Bertans
Deeper Value: Troy Brown
GPP Sleeper: Rui Hachimura, Thomas Bryant, Davis Bertans, Isaiah Thomas
Atlanta Hawks @ Detroit Pistons
Vegas Total: 225
Vegas Spread: Det -6.5
Starting with the Hawks, it’s really only two guys for me, Trae Young and Jabari Parker. Jabari’s price has gone down recently but this is a tough spot for him against Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond, I will likely fade him here. Trae Young is a guy I will always want to get at least a little ownership on. He has a 36.6% usage rate on the season and probably still cheap here, especially for GPPs. From the Pistons, The big men should smash here, Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin are both in play as the Hawks really don’t have the size to guard these guys. Luke Kennard continues to play well, but I just can’t pay $6.3k on Draftkings for him in cash, he’s a good GPP play, however. Derrick Rose looks to back to full health and has a massive 33.5% usage rate on the season coming off the bench, I like him quite a bit here against a bad defense in the Hawks.
5-star play: Trae Young, Andre Drummond, Blake Griffin
4-star play: Derrick Rose, Luke Kennard
Deeper Value: Langston Galloway
GPP Sleeper: Jabari Parker, Luke Kennard

Sacramento Kings @ Brooklyn Nets
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Kings, Bogdan Bogdanovic is currently listed as questionable, if he plays I do like him with Fox still out. But if he sits Buddy Hield and Corey Joseph see a pretty big boost against a bad Nets defense. With both Fox and him off the court, Hield has a 32% usage rate and 1.09 fantasy points per minute. Yogi Ferrell would also get launched into big minutes here as well, he becomes a great value guy with those two off the court. Richaun Holmes is coming off a 45 Draftking point night and we’ve been streaming big men against the Nets all season. Harrison Barnes and Nemanja Bjelica are both solid plays as well. From the Nets, Kyrie Irving is out again here which makes Spencer Dinwiddie a core play for me at under $8k on both sites. Jarrett Allen has gone over 30 Draftkings points in four straight games and should get a nice spot here again tonight. Taurean Prince bounced back nicely last game with a 38.5 Draftking point night, I like him as well here. The rest of this team is really just GPP plays for me.
5-star play: Buddy Hield, Spencer Dinwiddie
4-star play: Corey Joseph, Yogi Ferrell (If Bogdanovic sits), Jarrett Allen, Harrison Barnes, Richaun Holmes, Nemanja Bjelica
Deeper Value: Yogi Ferrell
GPP Sleeper: Taurean Prince, Buddy Hield
Miami Heat @ Chicago Bulls
Vegas Total: 217.5
Vegas Spread: Den -5
Starting with Heat, Jimmy Butler continues to play solid basketball and is a guy I like here in his return to Chicago. Bam Adebayo has come up all the way into the $8k range which feels high but he has been so consistent this year. I won’t talk you off of going with him here. Kendrick Nunn and Goran Dragic are more GPP plays than anything for me, I don’t mind getting to them as the last piece of your cash lineup, but certainly not a priority by any means. Duncan Robinson has played big minutes with Justise Winslow out, but I’m not going to chase his last game, I’ll let other people make that mistake. From the Bulls, Zach LaVine had a bad game last time out and I don’t see it getting a whole lot here with a matchup against Jimmy Butler. Lauri Markkanen bounced back in a nice way and has seen his price come back into the $6k range, I don’t hate going back to him here. Wendell Carter Jr. has 1.02 fantasy points per minute on the season and is also a solid play here as well. Shaq Harrison had a 45 Draftking point outing last time out, but I don’t think I’ll be chasing that production especially if Coby White is back here.
5-star play: Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo
4-star play: Lauri Markkanen, Kendrick Nunn, Goran Dragic, Wendell Carter Jr.
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Zach LaVine, Duncan Robinson, Shaq Harrison
San Antonio Spurs @ Philadelphia 76ers
Vegas Total: 221.5
Vegas Spread: Phi -7.5
Starting with the Spurs, DeMar DeRozan draws the better matchup between he and LaMarcus Aldridge and will be needed to carry a good deal of the load here. I think he’s a very solid play here. I’m a little more hesitant to go with Aldridge here as he’ll have to match up with a combination of Al Horford and Joel Embiid. Dejounte Murray continues to be held under 20 minutes per game, I just don’t like playing guys with a minute cap and on a big slate, I’ll find somewhere else to go. Rudy Gay, Bryn Forbes, and Patty Mills all make sense as secondary plays as well. From the Sixers, Joel Embiid has a 32.5% usage rate on the season with 46.9 Draftkings points per game on the season. His price is just about where it should be, I think he’s a solid play in his price range. Ben Simmons feels a little too pricey here, but the Spurs have struggled with opposing point guards all season long, so I won’t talk you off of him. Tobias Harris and Al Horford are both secondary pieces for me, while Josh Richardson is still questionable which could lead to Furkan Korkmaz getting more minutes if he’s ruled out.
5-star play: DeMar DeRozan, Joel Embiid
4-star play: LaMarcus Aldridge, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, Rudy Gay, Bryn Forbes, Patty Mills
Deeper Value: Furkan Korkmaz if Richardson is out
GPP Sleeper: LaMarcus Aldridge, Dejounte Murray, Tobias Harris

Los Angeles Lakers @ Oklahoma City Thunder
Vegas Total: 211.5
Vegas Spread: LAL -4.5
From the Lakers, Anthony Davis is probable so we don’t need to worry about that situation (I hope). Both he and LeBron James have usage rates over 30%, they are both elite plays. Kyle Kuzma is a fine GPP option, but the rest of this team doesn’t really interest me. The Lakers are playing extremely slow this season hence the 211 implied total so this isn’t exactly a pace up spot fro the Thunder. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is my favorite guy from this team if you have to play someone. He has a 24.2% usage rate on the season and just scored 32 Drafgkings points against this team last time out. Chris Paul continues to play well and is a solid cash game option. Both Danilo Gallinari and Dennis Schroeder are solid GPP options here and secondary cash guys.
5-star play: LeBron James, Anthony Davis
4-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chris Paul
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Rajon Rondo, Kyle Kuzma, JaVale McGee, Danilo Gallinari, Dennis Schroeder
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Dallas Mavericks
Vegas Total: 221.5
Vegas Spread: Dal -10.0
From Cleveland, I see Kevin Love as the top play here as he has a 34.7% usage rate on the season and should be able to do his thing on offense in this one. Tristan Thompson was mega chalk last game out and threw up a dud, I like this as a nice bounce-back spot. Larry Nance played well in fill-in for Thompson’s last game, but I’m not expecting he gets 35 minutes again tonight. I’ll jump off that bandwagon here. Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and Darius Garland all make sense as GPP plays. From the Mavericks, Luka Doncic is playing out of his mind right now and has a 37% usage rate on the season which is one of the league leaders. He finally got the price bump he deserves and likely won’t be as chalky as he has been but he’s scored at least 70 Draftkings points in three of his last four games. I like Kristaps Porzingis here and think there’s some meat on the bone at his price. Other than those guys I don’t have a whole lot of interest in this team.
5-star play: Kevin Love, Luka Doncic
4-star play: Tristan Thompson, Kristaps Porzingis
Deeper Value: Darius Garland
GPP Sleeper: Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, Darius Garland
Boston Celtics @ Denver Nuggets
Vegas Total: 206
Vegas Spread: Den -4.5
This game has the lowest implied total on the slate so I’m not sure how much I will really get to this game but we will start with the Celtics. The only guy that has over 5x projection on the Research Station is Kemba Walker and he is really the only guy that I will have interest in here as he does have a solid ceiling. From the Nuggets, I do like Nikola Jokic here as the Celtics really don’t have a great option to guard him. He has a 26.8% usage rate on the season. I don’t hate Jamal Murray for GPPs either as Kemba Walker doesn’t play all that great of defense and he has shown a massive ceiling this season when he shoots the ball well. I could get behind a Paul Millsap secondary play as well.
5-star play: Nikola Jokic
4-star play: Kemba Walker, Jamal Murray
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Kemba Walker, Jamal Murray
Golden State Warriors @ Utah Jazz
Vegas Total: 212
Vegas Spread: Utah -15.5
This game could be a tough one, I don’t expect the Warriors to be able to keep this one close, so playing guys that are blowout proof will be my plan in this one. Most of the Warriors guys are blowout proof other than Draymond Green and maybe Willie Cauley-Stein. Eric Paschall should get 35+ minutes here, but it is a very tough matchup against Rudy Gobert and company. It’s a bit too expensive for me. I don’t expect Draymond Green to play here if I’m being honest, he’s currently questionable. If Green is out I like Ky Bowman quite a bit as he’ll get the start at point guard. I also like Alec Burks here as he gets the usage in this offense with all of these guys out. Marquese Chriss, Glenn Robinson, and Willie Cauley-Stein are all GPP play here as well. From Utah, I won’t be going with any of these guys in cash games simply because I expect this to be a blowout and starters to get rested in the fourth. Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert are really my only GPP interests as they can put up big numbers quickly. Lastly, Royce O’Neale may get some extra run, they have no issue running him out in blowout games.
5-star play: Alec Burks, Ky Bowman
4-star play: Eric Paschall, Marquese Chriss, Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert
Deeper Value: Marquese Chriss, Glenn Robinson, and Willie Cauley-Stein, Royce O’Neale
GPP Sleeper: Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, Eric Paschall
Houston Rockets @ Los Angeles Clippers
Vegas Total: 228
Vegas Spread: Lac -5.0
This game will be a fun one to round out the night. Starting with the Rockets, James Harden has a 42% usage rate on the season and will likely get Kawhi Leonard or Paul George defense here. Regardless he’s a solid play even at an escalated price tag. Russell Westbrook has a 34% usage rate on the season and has been a bit all over the place in terms of fantasy production. I do like him here due to the lowered price tag. Clint Capela draws a nice matchup here as well and has a 1.23 fantasy points per minute on the season. PJ Tucker will likely get tasked with defending Kawhi here and should play big minutes, I like him as a value option. From the Clippers, it is the Paul George and Kawhi Leonard show here both are elite plays here especially now with Paul George’s minute restriction being lifted. Lou Williams hasn’t really seen his production dip with George back so I don’t hate him for GPPs either. The same can be said for Montrezl Harrell. Patrick Beverley is a nice value option as well and is coming off a massive 57 Draftking outing.
5-star play: James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George
4-star play: PJ Tucker, Clint Capela, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, Patrick Beverley
Deeper Value: Patrick Beverley, PJ Tucker
GPP Sleeper: Danuel House
