The Aces article is back for some Monday night action with a 10:00 pm ET lineup lock as you are enjoying Monday Night Football. I’ll keep this article as regular as possible but DraftKings is not doing DFS Tennis players any favors with the schedule they are currently on in terms of releasing slates. But we have information in time for this Asian-based slate and the Aces have an all-time record of 27-13 so let’s get to it.
I am primarily using an odds based approach for Tennis and mixing in current form and surface history. Also, for your cash games I don’t see much of a reason to play more than one underdog as the pick-em odds range is around $7,300 while the average salary per player is still $8,333. The idea is to get wins so I’m not going too out of the way to pick more than maybe one upset per lineup. Make sure to jump into Slack Chat for any questions and I’ll be dropping the rest of my player pool.
These are the free plays but if you’re a VIP make sure to jump in Slack Chat where I’ll be dropping my full player pool for the day. Not a VIP? Fix that and use code SNIPER for 10% off.
One last thing – if you don’t already, please give me a follow on Twitter and subscribe to my YouTube channel at the links below. OK, enough of the intro, let’s get to it.

MY TENNIS ACES FOR SEPTEMBER 17 (Slate Locks at 10:00 pm ET)
ACES ALL-TIME RECORD: 27-13
Su-Wei Hsieh ($9,000) – Let’s start with Hsieh who is playing red-hot tennis after winning the Hiroshima event last week. Hsieh defeated four top-100 players in five matches to win the event and dropped just two sets total. On the other hand, her opponent Jill Teichmann won two matches to qualify for the main draw but struggled with 184th ranked Bibiane Schoof…not a name you should know. Hsieh is my favorite pay up option because she’s not THAT expensive and it’s hard not to love her form.
Priscilla Hon ($8,700) – Aussie Aussie Aussie! Sorry, I had to. I really like the game of the 20 year old Aussie as she looks to win her first main draw match on tour. She’s gotten through qualifiers in two straight events and last week took 41st ranked and eventual runner up Qiang Wang to three sets. Her opponent is in the draw as a hometown wild card but assuming Hon can keep her cool, her talent should win out and the line movement to -250 backs that up.
Viktoria Kuzmova ($8,000) – I disagree with the oddsmakers on this one as Kuzmova is only a -167 favorite against Jorovic. This will be her first match since a close-ish first round loss to Azarenka at the U.S Open. She has been facing, with some success, much better opposition than Jorovic, who recently won an ITF event. Sign me up for the much more accomplished player at under the average player price and -167 odds.
That’s it guys and girls! Please jump into Slack and find me to talk about the slate and definitely let me know how we can improve our Tennis coverage at DFS Army.
