NFL DFS Army Winners Losers Lineups and Week 10

As week 9 in the DFS Army wraps, members inside the DFS Army are having success by following simple principles from bankroll management to contest selection to how to build a fundamentally sound, competitive lineup for any given week on any given slate for any given sport.  What brings our members value is our private Slack Chat community delivering 500+ like-minded grinders and tournament players as well as access to the coaches so willing to commit personal time to your success.

HOLY CRAP – I don’t have the ability to show them all from week 9.  But, here are a few of our winners I picked out.  Another good showing for the Army.  Watch out if you see our avatars in your contests.  Victory will be earned.  We have the fundamentals down.  Scroll down to see how you can also #Learn2Build and join the movement taking DFS by storm…

Another week, another DFS #Ladder winner

If you follow me on Twitter (@ChoppoDong), you will hear me preach of ladder structure constantly.  This week, I modified by adding some HTH contests through the $5 Matrix on FanDuel.  This further solidified my floor.  If you want to learn a key fundamental to contest selection that rewards both safety and upside, you need to read here and join us at dfsarmy.com to learn more.

Private Contests through Daily Fantasy Sites

We also ran a private contest through FantasyDraft where our coaches did well, but lots of members came out ahead.  We like inner competition in the Army, too.  It builds a tighter unit and shows off what we’ve learned.  This one concludes tonight, but it looks like our NBA pro, Keith Hall (aka Boomersdaddy), is in line to take home the goodie bag and, as a bonus, FantasyDraft added in a signed NFL helmet of choice from a couple of players and some added DFSArmy swag.  TY Hilton being the one I would have chosen had I held on just a little longer.

MarillaMarauder has an outside shot here if they can get 15 points out of Christine Michael tonight.  I know a lot of us will be watching this one closely.  We always have fun stuff like this going on in our Slack Channels, where we often convene to sweat out the action along with our members doing well in contests.  That smack talk gets quite entertaining.

Many other winners didn’t get shown here due to space, but as we grow our community, our winners grow, too.  We seem to see at least one $1000 winner each week.  Those like me that play smaller amounts are always posting their winners, too.  You just can’t beat the comradarie of winning together as a group.  And, it’s even more rewarding when you built the lineup yourself instead of simply purchasing it from some guy bragging about his track record.  In the DFS Army, we don’t give you lineups.  We give you tools to research, players picks to help you narrow your focus, and the skills to help you build your own winners.  There is no greater satisfaction than watching your time and effort rewarded as you climb a leaderboard and pass up all those players that copped out and bought their lineups because they were too lazy to put in the work.

If you are the type of player we are looking for, you owe it to yourself to peek inside our community.  I can make that really simple for you by knocking 20% off your membership for as long as you enjoy your stay.  Simply enter coupon code CHOP, and for less than 50c a day you unlock all the advice we offer, tools we share, and accessibility to coaches waiting to help you get better in real time as you research your games.  I have looked around, and I can’t find anywhere near the value we bring to the table.  In fact, I have seen only lineups sold for as much as 600% our subscription.  We’d rather keep that money in your bankroll than our pockets.  We aren’t here to get rich through a website.  We are here to provide players an affordable opportunity to be competitive in DFS and simply recoup the expenses we’ve incurred in setting the website and tools up for you.

Week 9 in Review

PIT – Terrible on road, but Ben wasn’t to be trusted coming off surgery anyway.

BAL – Sometimes Wallace catches his opportunities, but he is still forever a GPP player.

DAL – It’s a younger team now.  Only Jerry can get in his own way by playing Romo at this point.

CLE – Shocker….Pryor Sr is the only relevant player on this team if they run Kessler out there.

JAX – ARob is ‘Bortles depenedent’ and that’s not a good thing.

KC – Alex Smith uses RBs.  Nick Foles likes to air it out more.  Too bad both suck in DFS.

NYJ – I can’t predict this shit…..ever.

MIA – Ajayi might be a legit thing now.  From a team that wanted to cut his ass to matchup proof?  Hard to believe.

DET – Even a bad game from Riddick is serviceable in cash formats on ppr sites.  Tate finally getting used consistently, too.

MIN – 3way committee at RB sucks donkey balls.  Diggs might be evolving into possession receiver now that the shine of new is wearing off the Bradford and revealing it was still a turd underneath the whole time.

PHI – Wentz regressing temporarily as rookies do.  Too bad it affects everything.

NYG – This game is covered by smoke and mirrors.  Look at the yardage to find the endzones saved them from being duds.

CAR – Newton had his career year…..last year.  Overpriced.

LAR – Kendricks is a consistent TE right now…..and dirt cheap.   Way better than Tavon.

NO – We called Ingram on the pod.  We called Thomas on the pod.  Brees on road this week was more about SF sucking than him getting over his home/road splits.  Enjoy that rare road performance.

SF – Chip Kelly is NOT an NFL coach.  He goes back to college sooner rather than later.

IND – Hilton is overpriced now that Moncrief, Dorsett, and Allen are back in the mix.  At his salary, he’s GPP only for me.  Also, the TEBC is back.  If you don’t know what that means, you don’t listen to our podcasts.

GB – Too many mouths to feed to use WRs in cash.  More GPP only from me.  But, with all these weapons and no real running game, Rodgers is in play every week.

TEN – Mariota, Walker, DMurray are only factors.  But, my eyes are on Rishard Matthews.  He might be viable now, too.

SD – Dare I admit Gordon is a real running back?  Just when I think he’s TD dependent, he does that.

OAK/DEN – shows the DEN weakness is an opposing RB.  Also, Booker isn’t good yet.  Get the hell off that train.

Week 10 Preview

Bye teams:  BUF, DET, IND, OAK

Top games to target:  DAL @ PIT, SF @ ARI, GB @ TEN, and ATL @ PHI.  No line yet, but DEN @ NO might be fun.

I’m watching QBs from: NO, TB, TEN, GB, SD.

RBs from:  DAL, PIT, ARI, SD, NO, MIA

Defenses from:  BAL, SD, ARI, NE

Short preview, but like all weeks you can see how much changes.  Besides, there aren’t a lot of Vegas lines released yet, and that starts my research.  I really don’t put a lot of thought into anything until I see all the lines.  The above is simply what jumped out at me without really looking.

Follow us in Slack, and on Twitter, to see how Week 10 evolves.  And, get inside here and join all our above winners that will tell you the Army has done more for their games than other sites they have joined.  It’s not going to be a secret for long!
