Denver Nuggets @ New York Knicks

Vegas Total: 210.5

Vegas Spread: Nyk -1.5

This is an island game at 1 o’clock, so it will be a showdown only type play. Nikola Jokic is obviously a great play at your Captain spot here as he’ll do a little of everything for this Nuggets team with how decimated they are by injuries even in a tougher matchup. Will Barton is their 2nd best option on offense as he runs the point with the 2nd unit at times as well and he’s not overly priced here. Monte Morris has also been picking it up a bit offensively, but the ceiling is never too high with him unless Barton is out. Aaron Gordon’s usage has gone up a bit as well the past few weeks, but he’s never someone I feel confident playing as long as Jokic is healthy. If you’re looking to get really deep, Austin Rivers has seen some decent minutes recently but he is sporadic from a production standpoint.

The Knicks have been great so far this year, their offense starts with Julius Randle who has been playing lights out again and coming off a good game, he should feast again here tonight against the likes of Aaron Gordon. Alec Burks will also be taking over the starting PG role which immediately puts him into play, as Kemba will be out of the rotation and he just went off last game and gets another good matchup here, his price hasn’t caught up to the production just yet but I have a feeling it will in the near future. RJ Barrett and Evan Fournier will also see increased roles here as well but this Knicks team isn’t too fantasy friendly. Lastly, Immanuel Quickley will run the 2nd unit here along with Derrick Rose, my preference is Quickley here tonight as he is seeing huge minutes and closing out games as well.

5-star play: Julius Randle, Nikola Jokic

4-star play: Derrick Rose, Will Barton

Deeper Value: RJ Barrett, Evan Fournier, Immanuel Quickley, Monte Morris, Austin Rivers

GPP Sleeper: Immanuel Quickly, Derrick Rose

Chicago Bulls @ Brooklyn Nets

Vegas Total: 220

Vegas Spread: Bkn -3

Starting with the Bulls, Nikola Vucevic has a favorable matchup here and is coming off his best 2 games of the year so far, he’s a great play in all formats as BKN doesn’t have anyone that can contain him. Zach LaVine also has a big ceiling in this game as the Nets have been struggling against guards so far this year, especially over their last 7. DeMar Derozan is also in play here tonight, and the matchup for him is much better tonight than it was against the Knicks a few days ago. Lastly, Alex Caruso is their sparkplug coming off the bench, but he tweaked a hammy last game, so that is something to monitor, if he were to miss it would open up some additional minutes for Ayo Dosunmu who has been seeing an increased role as well.

Now from the Nets, they aren’t a very DFS friendly team as the majority of their usage goes between James Harden and Kevin Durant. Both are elite plays here tonight for obvious reasons and this could be potential playoff matchup as well. If you’re looking to go beyond those two guys, LaMarcus Aldridge has been the most consistent of their other producers, but he has been a bit shaky as well of late. With it being the 2nd half of a B2B I could see the Nets sitting some of their older guys here so keep an eye on news. Lastly, Patty Mills is a GPP flier here as he could get hot from 3 and would be very low owned, but that’s an MME type of play for sure.

5-star play: James Harden, Kevin Durant, Nikola Vucevic

4-star play: Zach LaVine, DeMar Derozan, LaMarcus Aldridge

Deeper Value: Patty Mills, LaMarcus Aldridge, Ayo Dosunmu

GPP Sleeper: Ayo Dosunmu

Miami Heat @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total: 215.5

Vegas Spread: Mil -5.5

Starting with the Heat, they’ll be without Jimmy Butler for at least this game, and possibly without Bam Adebayo as well. Given the matchup this isn’t great news for them but it opens up some value here. Kyle Lowry is gonna be your main beneficiary of Jimmy being out, as he’ll have elite usage along with the likes of Tyler Herro who will also be in a great spot tonight as well as the Bucks struggle to defend the 3PT line. Dewayne Dedmon would see a nice bump here if Bam were to miss again as well, although his priced was adjusted by both sites after that big performance the other night, so not as high on him this evening. Lastly, PJ Tucker is even in play here against his old team, as he could have some spite after they dumped him after the championship last year.

Now for the Bucks, the big news here obviously is that Giannis Antetokounmpo is doubtful here with a calf injury, which would shake up the entire slate. Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday would be the main beneficiaries and both have great matchups here, especially Middleton with Butler out. Grayson Allen has also strung together a few good games in a row here and he’s pretty cheap on both sites and he’ll see more shots tonight here as well. Pat Connaughton is also a guy that would see a boost if one of their studs were to rest here, but he’s a deeper MME type play at this time. Outside of those guys, Bobby Portis is also in play here going up against Dedmon, who is a shell defensively of what Bam is, so he’s in a great spot here as well if Giannis does indeed sit this one out.

5-star play: Kyle Lowry, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday

4-star play: Tyler Herro, Dewayne Dedmon, Grayson Allen, Bobby Portis

Deeper Value: PJ Tucker, Pat Connaughton

GPP Sleeper: PJ Tucker

Memphis Grizzlies @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total: 217

Vegas Spread: Dal -5.5

Starting with the Grizzlies, with Ja Morant out again here tonight, Tyus Jones will likely start in his place and play big minutes, he did last game and the production exploded, as did all of this MEM team against OKC. De’Anthony Melton will also see a nice boost here along with Desmond Bane who has been shooting lights out over the past few games, very underrated GPP play. Jaren Jackson has also been seeing a nice boost in production with Ja out, and he draws a favorable matchup here tonight against this young Mavs frontcourt that has been getting torched by opposing bigs. Steven Adams also has a favorable matchup here but the minutes have been spotty for him, but DAL is getting smashed by opposing bigs lately. If you want to get deeper as well you can go to Brandon Clarke as well as he’s been seeing some solid minutes off the bench as well.

Now for the Mavericks, they’re on the 2nd half of a B2B and with Porzy sitting last night, I’m expecting that he’ll sit again here tonight as well. This make Luka Doncic an elite play here as the Grizzlies have been bleeding FPs to almost every position with the exception of that OKC game. Jalen Brunson would also be a great play to go back to tonight after he kind of dudded last night in a great spot. Outside of those two guys though you’re really reaching here, especially with Tim Hardaway leaving with an injury last night. Maxi Kleber would be the only other option I would play from this team and that’s only if KP is indeed out again tonight.

5-star play: Luka Doncic

4-star play: Tyus Jones, De’Anthony Melton, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson, Jalen Brunson

Deeper Value: Desmond Bane, Brandon Clarke, Maxi Kleber

GPP Sleeper: Maxi Kleber

San Antonio Spurs @ Golden State Warriors

Vegas Total: 219.5

Vegas Spread: Gsw -9.5

Starting with the Spurs, their offense stops and starts with Dejounte Murray as he has been their main source of offense, he has a great matchup here tonight again in one of the later games against Steph. Jakob Poeltl is also in a good spot here but I don’t love him tonight as the Warriors like to play small and he won’t be able to keep up. Keldon Johnson‘s price is very tempting as well but he can be very scoring dependent so he’s gonna be GPP only. Devin Vassell has been solid coming off the bench and is a deeper value play, but he has an injury as well so that is something to keep an eye on, and I always like Derrick White at his price, but he has been overshadowed by Murray a lot this year.

Now for the Warriors, the obvious main play is going to be Stephen Curry here especially coming off a down shooting night against a tough Suns team. He is an elite play as the Spurs are bleeding FPs to opposing guards this year. Jordan Poole also has a great matchup but he is scoring dependent so GPP only. Draymond Green is also coming off a monster game, and I could see him having another here as the Warriors will need him on the glass tonight with Poeltl and Johnson. Andrew Wiggins has stayed hot as well, but we all know he is never more than GPP play with his volatility. Otto Porter has also been seeing some nice minutes here lately and he’s in a good spot here and should be super low owned coming off the bench.

5-star play: Stephen Curry, Dejounte Murray

4-star play: Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, Keldon Johnson

Deeper Value: Andrew Wiggins, Otto Porter, Derrick White

GPP Sleeper: Otto Porter

Boston Celtics @ Portland Trailblazers

Vegas Total: 217.5

Vegas Spread: Bos -1.5

Starting with the Celtics, they’re on the 2nd half of a B2B after flying in from Utah late last night, so I’d expect them to be a bit sluggish here tonight. Jayson Tatum is coming off a monster game in a tough matchup, but he’s hard for me to trust here even in a plus matchup. Jaylen Brown has similar upside for less of a price tag in this one. Al Horford also draws a very good matchup here, and he is coming off his best game of the season as well last night, so I like him for sure in GPPs. Dennis Schroder draws a favorable matchup here as well, but just tough to really love anyone here after playing a super fast games against Utah and then flying to Portland in one night.

Now for the Blazers, they’re gonna be hurting a bit for a week or so here, with Dame and Nassir Little out. Anfernee Simons also went down with an injury last game so this Blazers team is really hurting right now. CJ McCollum is gonna be in line for huge usage here, he’s a premier play tonight especially with this game being later. Jusuf Nurkic won’t be far behind him in production here and he draws a favorable matchup against this Celtics frontcourt. There will be plenty of value here tonight as well, and even Norman Powell returned last game and he’ll have to play big minutes as well. Dennis Smith Jr. will be the main beneficiary if Simons misses, as will Ben McLemore as he played huge minutes in the blowout the other night, but my preference will be on DSJ. Lastly, you can round out your options with Robert Covington who is in play for GPPs at this price.

5-star play: CJ McCollum

4-star play: Jusuf Nurkic, Jayson Tatum, Al Horford, Jaylen Brown, Dennis Schroder, Norman Powell

Deeper Value: Dennis Smith Jr., Ben McLemore, Robert Covington

GPP Sleeper: Ben McLemore

Los Angeles Clippers @ Sacramento Kings

Vegas Total: 216

Vegas Spread: Lac -1.5

Here we have the hammer game, and it should be a good matchup here especially given the pace of this game. The big news will obviously be Paul George here as he is a GTD already here and we won’t get news till after lock. He’s an elite play if he is in, but for the sake of the article I’ll play it like he’s out given how close the spread is. If he does miss, Reggie Jackson is the main beneficiary and draws a great matchup here tonight. Terance Mann would also be in line for big minutes and is cheap on both sites. Serge Ibaka has also been starting and the minutes are on the rise as well, but given it is a B2B here he may rest here so keep an eye on that as well. Eric Bledsoe would be GPP viable if PG does miss as well, as would Luke Kennard who would play big minutes off the bench.

Now for the Kings, De’Aaron Fox has a great matchup here as the Clippers are bleeding FPs to opposing guards over their last 7. Buddy Hield is another primary option for me tonight as Moe Harkless and Harrison Barnes have already been ruled out in this one as well. Tyrese Haliburton is in a solid spot as well, but he’s my least favorite of the Kings guards tonight. Richaun Holmes has a great matchup here, and he is priced really nicely especially on FanDuel in a plus matchup. Chimezie Metu should also start and play big minutes here with Barnes and Hark out as well and he’s a great value play in the hammer game.

5-star play: De’Aaron Fox, Paul George (if in)

4-star play: Reggie Jackson, Buddy Hield, Tyrese Haliburton, Richaun Holmes

Deeper Value: Serge Ibaka, Eric Bledsoe, Chimezie Metu, Luke Kennard

GPP Sleeper: Luke Kennard, Chimezie Metu
